The largest wedding show in Western Washington is quickly coming to town! Are you ready? In just a week, on Sunday, June 2nd, 17 unique venues will open their doors for The 11th Annual Snohomish Wedding Tour. Over 100 top-notch wedding professionals, many the best Puget Sound has to offer, are participating alongside. From lush floral arrangements, to decadent catering samples, to gorgeous venues and everything in between, The Tour is sure to provide plenty of wedding planning inspiration. Please read on for a quick rundown of The Tour from start to finish. If you haven’t registered yet, not to worry! You can still grab tickets HERE. They’re free, and who doesn’t love that?
Planning Your Visit. The Snohomish Wedding Tour is a casual, self-guided, self-paced event, meaning you choose the venues to visit and for how long. Doors are open from 10 AM to 5 PM. Over the course of the day, most attendees comfortably visit 4 to 5 locations, and it’s a good idea to plan your route beforehand. If you’re curious about the full list of participating venues and vendors, they can be found in our e-magazine. A link to the e-magazine is automatically emailed to each attendee upon registering. It’s also sent to everyone periodically, so please check your spam folder if you haven’t received them! Printed copies of the magazine will also be available at each location.
Arriving For The Tour. To save our attendees time, there isn’t a central check-in. Instead, simply drive to the first venue you’d like to visit and begin from there! Addresses for each venue are listed on page two of the e-magazine. As you visit each location, it’s a good idea to bring a large bag worthy of holding several flyers, business cards, and other various handouts. We’re Open, Rain or Shine. Now, what type of Washingtonians would we be if we didn’t plan for inclement weather? Although the current forecast calls for blue skies and part sun, Pacific Northwest weather can be unpredictable. Have no fear! Many of our wedding venues are indoors. For outdoor-only venues, each is equipped with at least one waterproof tent to ensure you’ll stay comfortable and dry. Rain or shine, we’re prepared!
The Grand Prize. Hot air balloons are iconic to the City of Snohomish. We are known for them, so we’re especially excited to announce this year’s Grand Prize--a couple’s date night featuring a hot air balloon ride from Snohomish Balloon Rides, a $75 gift certificate from Collector’s Choice, a $20 gift certificate from Snohomish Pie Company, and an overnight stay at Adam’s Manor! All registered attendees are eligible to enter. Simply respond to our short survey, emailed after The Tour, and a winner will be chosen at random.
In closing, thank you for being an important part of The 11th Annual Snohomish Wedding Tour. We’re working behind the scenes to make this year’s Tour great, and we can’t wait to share it with you. See you in a week!
