Snohomish Wedding Venues: The Best in Western Washington

We're currently amidst the holiday season, but did you know this time of year is also affectionately referred to as “engagement season,” particularly the days between Christmas and New Year’s? If you find yourself newly-engaged, or if you’re already engaged, a heartfelt congratulations! This is such an exciting time of mapping out your lives together, and oh, the possibilities!

When planning a wedding, one of the first things engaged couples do is search for a wedding venue. Annually, on the first Sunday in June, The Snohomish Wedding Guild organizes The Snohomish Wedding Tour. The tour is a free event specifically designed for engaged couples, their wedding party, and loved ones, and it showcases a vast array of Snohomish wedding venues and top-notch wedding professionals.

This year, it falls on Sunday, June 2nd, from 10 AM-5 PM. Over a dozen of the best wedding venues Western Washington has to offer will be dressed up and open at the same time. Also filled to the brim with wedding vendors and examples of their work-from wedding planners, caterers, decor, florists, hair and makeup artists, photographers, videographers, and DJs, etc.-each venue is fully set-up so you can see first-hand how each location may look for your wedding. Registration will be opening up later in the new year, so be sure and watch for more details!

While we (not-so-patiently) wait for the wedding tour, you can also individually check out each venue ahead of time. Most couples tour 4-5 locations during The Snohomish Wedding Tour, and it’s helpful to narrow down your list to specific ones you'd like to visit. Year round, some of our venues offer individual tours on a schedule, and some are by appointment only. Below is a list of all of our member venues, including links to their websites and individual tour information.

Dairyland Barn Weddings

Woodland Meadow Farms started in the wedding business with an offbeat wedding. In 2009, John Beal, a former landscaping contractor, as well a longtime pro dirt bike racer, transformed an aging tree farm to accommodate his sister's medieval-themed wedding. Afterwards, he was encouraged to make it a full-fledged business and 2010 became the first season of weddings at Woodland Meadow Farms. Over the years, Woodland Meadow Farms became a venue to attract people who don't necessarily fit the "traditional wedding" mold, reflecting the owners' unique personalities. In 2013, Woodland Meadow Farms expanded to include a 50-acre farm less than a mile down the road, and a new wedding venue was created there too. Affectionately called Dairyland, the name is an homage to the dairy farm that once operated there.
