There’s something so romantic about moody, rainy PNW weather. Maybe it’s the mist and softer lighting, or perhaps it’s the chill outdoors that encourages us to snuggle up more inside. Whatever it is, rain storms only enhanced the dreamy vibe of this week’s featured fall wedding at Snohomish’s Hidden Meadows. Grab a warm cup of tea, find a comfy, quiet spot, and enjoy these lush wedding photos, all courtesy of member photographer Arlene Chambers.
About Hidden Meadows
Hidden Meadows is a 5th generation farm located in a quiet country setting and only five minutes from historical downtown Snohomish. With gorgeous views of Mt. Pilchuck, it offers both outdoor and indoor options. The indoor venue can accommodate up to 350 guests and features a private bridal suite-with its own restroom and large vanity-and a groom’s room. Year-round tours of Hidden Meadows are available each Tuesday from 4-7 PM. No RSVPs are required.
According to Arlene Chambers, “I love seeing a couple that is well loved and celebrated. Not only are these two in love, everyone around them adores them. With notes to each other, as well as a note from the bride’s sister, there were many sentiments flowing freely!”
The couple forwent a first look, instead saving first glimpses of each other for the ceremony. The bride’s father, however, did sneak a peek. The emotion of seeing his daughter in her wedding dress was captured so beautifully in photos. Other highlights of note include the richly-hued floral arrangements, all crafted by a family friend, and the fun bacon bar by caterer The Wooden Spoon. DJ Otto-matic closed out the night with some lively tunes, followed by a sweet ribbon send-off from loved ones.
