About the Snohomish Wedding Guild:
With nearly twenty wedding and event venues in our community, Snohomish is quickly becoming known as the "Wedding Capital of Washington". As a wedding venue or a wedding professional you are in a unique position to benefit from and further promote this concept throughout the Puget Sound. In partnership with the City of Snohomish, a new group has formed to accomplish this goal.

This group is called the Snohomish Wedding Guild. It is our hope that by working cooperatively, we can successfully increase the number of weddings and events in our community and, therefore increase your individual businesses.

You are invited to join us to accomplish our collective goal of being known as The Wedding Capital of Washington. All wedding professionals are invited to join the Guild, not just Snohomish businesses.

The Snohomish Wedding Guild (SWG) is newly underway and membership is open to any wedding professional. On the following page, you will find the options of membership, costs, and benefits of membership. Over the past few months, the SWG created a plan to accomplish the following goals.

1. Create and promote the Snohomish Wedding Guild.
2. Create and produce a MySnohomishWedding website
3. Facilitate the 1st Annual Snohomish Wedding Showcase Tour.

SWG launched the MySnohomishWedding.com website on March 21st 2009, it showcases the various Snohomish venues and the preferred service providers from around the Puget Sound that are members of the SWG. This will be a valuable resource for brides and grooms as they plan their perfect wedding day. The website will also encourage couples to share their Snohomish wedding memories.

Planning is now underway for the 2nd Annual Snohomish Wedding Showcase Tour. The guild is inviting the venues to showcase their facilities, and for the wedding professionals to showcase your services, similar to the Wedding Shows. Each venue will have space available for wedding professionals to exhibit your product or service.

Enclosed is an overview of the investment options and an application for the Snohomish Wedding Guild with the above mentioned marketing opportunities. Time is short to put these options together. The application deadline to have your business included on the website and to participate in the 2nd Annual Snohomish Wedding Showcase Tour is Sunday May 23rd, 2010.

We encourage you to participate to the fullest to both showcase your venue, products or services and to help launch Snohomish as the "Wedding Capital of Washington", the most prestigious location to host a wedding or event!
