Dear Snohomish Wedding Guild Member,
As a vendor member of the Snohomish Wedding Guild, we are inviting you to participate in the fourth annual Snohomish Wedding Tour on Sunday, May 20th, 2012. We’re looking forward to your involvement and our biggest and best show to date!
Applications will be due by January 27, 2012. The registration fee is only $100. Applications received after January 27th will be subject to a $50 late fee and no applications will be accepted after April 30, 2012.
If vendor spots are not filled at all venues as of April 1st, vendors then have the option of purchasing a second location. Full registration fees will be assessed for the second location but no late fees will be incurred. It is mandatory that the second location be staffed by a vendor representative.
Additional updates/reminders for the 2012 Tour:
- To be a tour participant you must have an active/fully paid Snohomish Wedding Guild membership.
- Registration fees must accompany tour applications. Registrations will not be considered received until payment is made online and in full.
- Only paid, pre-assigned members may participate in the tour. Final application deadline is April 30, 2012.
- Only one vendor per category will be placed at each venue. For example if there are 12 venues there will be 12 available slots for photographers, 12 for florists, etc.
- Participating vendors must have a representative present at their assigned booth for the duration of the tour.
- Participating venues must have an active host/greeter present at their venue for the duration of the tour.
Tour venue assignments will be announced at the SWG meeting on March 13, 2012.
Vendor assignments will be made by the Tour committee. It has been a challenge to meet all the placement requests in the past so this year the committee will be placing vendors. Prior tour participants will be placed first if registered by Dec. 31, 2011 and then all vendors registered by April 1st will be placed as their paid registrations are received.
All setup and display arrangements for the day of the tour will be coordinated by the assigned venue. Each venue, with their participating vendors, will decide in advance on a giveaway for their venue.
Your helpful, handy planning calendar:
- December 1 , 2011 -tour applications open to last year’s tour participants
- December 31, 2011 – tour applications due from prior participants
- January 1, 2012 -tour applications open to all paid Guild members and posted to the website.
- January 27, 2012 -last day to submit applications without a late fee charge
- January 28, 2012 -late registration period through April 30, 2012 (add $50 late fee to registration)
- March 13, 2012 -tour assignments announced at guild meeting
- March 14, 2012 -tour assignments sent electronically to all registered tour participants
- April 1- 30, 2012 -second location option open to participating vendors
- April 30, 2012 -all registration ends, no additional vendors added to the tour (including event day add-ons)
Promotional Opportunity
Back by popular demand the tour will host an information center which will open 30 minutes prior to the venue openings. Ideally, couples will arrive early, get their maps, and then have more time to visit venues. To create excitement and energy there will be a swag bag giveaway to the first 50 brides. Gift items are needed for the bags and these items are a great way to get your name in front of couples who may not visit your venue. If you would like to participate please indicate your contribution on registration form.
Items must meet these requirements:
- small enough to fit in a 9” wide x 10” tall x 4”deep bag with other items
- a free no-strings-attached gift (not a discount or promotion for your business); promotional imprints/markings are okay
- not an alcoholic beverage
- quantity of 50
