With nearly twenty wedding and event venues in our community, Snohomish is quickly becoming known as the “Wedding Capitol of Washington”. As a wedding venue or a wedding professional you are in a unique position to benefit from and further promote this concept throughout the Puget Sound. In partnership with the City of Snohomish, a new group has formed to accomplish this goal.

This group is called the Snohomish Wedding Guild. It is our hope that by working cooperatively, we can successfully increase the number of weddings and events in our community and, therefore increase your individual businesses.

Membership in the Snohomish Wedding Guild (SWG) is open to any wedding professional. On the following page you will find the options of membership, costs and benefits of membership.

Following are the goals of the SWG:

  1. Create and promote the Snohomish Wedding Guild
  2. Create and produce a MySnohomishWedding website.
  3. Facilitate the Snohomish Wedding Tour

SWG launched the MySnohomishWedding.com website on March 21, 2009.  It showcases the various Snohomish venues and preferred service providers from around the Puget Sound that are members of the Guild.  It is a valuable resource for brides and grooms as they plan their perfect wedding day.

Planning is now underway for the 2012 Snohomish Wedding Tour. The Guild is inviting the venues to showcase your services, similar to the Wedding Shows. Each venue will have space available for wedding professionals to exhibit your product or service.

We encourage you to participate to the fullest to both showcase your venue, products or services and to help launch Snohomish as the “Wedding Capitol of Washington”, the most prestigious location to host a wedding or event.
